about

first and foremost thank you to david bowie
for all the inspiration and amazing music.

when david bowie died there was such a sudden
burst of tribute shows thrown together by so many
of my favourite venues, promoters, and musicians
here in los angeles.
i was asked to perform at three such shows,
and i started practicing songs with some friends.
the experience of putting those sets together and
playing those shows for those bowie fans,
and sharing my very personal love for bowie's work
was a touching way to say goodbye, and i
decided that i wanted to record this tribute album
and release it on bowie's 1 year death-a-versary
as a way of deepening my appreciation
and understanding of a body of work that
continues to enrich and influence my life
and love of music.

thank you jared caldwell for the use of your drum set
thank you to all the amazing musicians who
played on this record and helped me to
complete this daunting task,
thank you cameron tyme edison for the cover art, and all your edges help, and support.
and thank you lastly thank you to sailor alexander, and signify studios for hosting and enabling us all to put this together.
